La SOFEPAC s.a Microfinance trouve son origine dans l\u2019Association F\u00e9minine d\u2019\u00c9pargne et de Cr\u00e9dit \u00ab AFEPAC \u00bb, cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1990. Cette initiative pionni\u00e8re, port\u00e9e par des femmes engag\u00e9es, avait pour objectif de faciliter l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux services financiers pour une grande partie de la population exclue du syst\u00e8me bancaire traditionnel.<\/p>

L\u2019institution a obtenu son agr\u00e9ment officiel d\u00e9livr\u00e9 par la Banque de la R\u00e9publique du Burundi le 19 ao\u00fbt 2013, sous l\u2019acte N\u00b0 D1\/1253\/2013, puis a ouvert ses portes au public le 18 octobre 2013. Son agr\u00e9ment a \u00e9t\u00e9 actualis\u00e9 le 23 septembre 2019 sous le num\u00e9ro D1\/1709\/2019. Aujourd\u2019hui, la SOFEPAC s.a est install\u00e9e \u00e0 Bujumbura, dans la commune urbaine de Mukaza, zone Rohero, au Boulevard de l\u2019Uprona N\u00b020.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

La mission de la SOFEPAC s\u2019articule autour de plusieurs axes essentiels. L\u2019institution mobilise et collecte l\u2019\u00e9pargne du public, en mettant un accent particulier sur l\u2019autonomisation financi\u00e8re des femmes. Elle encourage l\u2019entrepreneuriat, lutte activement contre la pauvret\u00e9 en offrant un acc\u00e8s facilit\u00e9 aux cr\u00e9dits, et assure un accompagnement rigoureux des b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires, notamment les groupements et associations. Elle contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 la formation et \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de revenus permettant aux communaut\u00e9s d\u2019acc\u00e9der durablement \u00e0 des ressources financi\u00e8res fiables.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
